RECEIVINGEND :: NEWS July 2nd, 2006 :: A/A was not released before 2006. Too many tracks, too little time. The direction started to veer towards friendly, and RE has decided to pull it before going to press. Those tracks that may have given you hope will either be released as a B sides collection, or under a pseudonym. A/A will be hard and crush. The final track selection is complete, artwork is complete. Mastering, duplication and distribution is next. The Approach & Then Aphelion will be limited to 73 copies, and will be available for order through this site, or at a select few Calgary outlets. Expected date of unleash: Sept 11th, 2006. :: One more track has been added to the music section. "microK.Proteus" includes samples from the world's first open source MC, Proteus. December 17, 2005 :: 8 new tracks have been added to the music section, including a selection from the "Alpha minus Beta" tracks, the 2 "RE vs JW" REmixes, and one B-side from the forthcoming double RElease "The Approach & Then Aphelion". :: A few more tracks have been added to the forthcoming album, making it the longest playing RElease to date (currently at 16 tracks and 29.7 minutes). As previously stated, plans are to release this before the new year. That is if RE would stop writing like man possesed. November 22, 2005 :: tracks have been mastered for the upcoming release. RECEIVINGEND takes you further out, Approaching Aphelion. The REGB tracks have been added to the music section. November 2, 2005 :: the final tracks have been finished for the forthcoming album. Stay tuned for more details. September 22, 2005 :: All previously released RECEIVINGEND tracks (and the unREleased) have been made available for download in their entirety in the music section. Go and grab them while you can. :: The "REGBgit" tracks and other previously unheard tracks will be made available in the coming week. :: The brand new album is getting the finishing touches this month, and should be ready by the end of November. Stay tuned. July 7, 2005 :: Checking in. RECEIVINGEND was on the road, not on tour, just on the road during May. No longer in 'peg city. Now closer to cowtown. Will RE stay? Time will tell. Added a Korg Electribe EM-1 to the gear rack. With it comes new inspiration and some new tracks will be posted soon. With new server space, the entire RECEIVINGEND catalog should be available online soon. :: a cover of KOMPRESSOR's track "Click Click Click" was mutilated into a RECEIVINGEND track and entered into his competition. The track is available for download in the music section. March 15, 2005 :: RECEIVINGEND has been busy with the addition of a Behringer Eurorack UB1002 to the arsenal of audio destruction equipment. A tenative date of live performance in April... more info soon. The RE:unREleased tracks available for download have been switched up. There are some photos posted from RECEIVINGEND's first live performance at the Albert on the CityNeverSleeps.net website. December 3, 2004 :: the RE:unREleased tracks have finally been released. go to the music section to hear the unheard. October 31, 2004 :: the "ANTENNA BROKEN" tracks have been removed to make way for new material to be posted within the next week. Stay tuned. September 10, 2004 :: RECEIVINGEND will be performing live tonight at the Royal Albert Arms in Winnipeg. Tickets are $5 - available at the door. Click here to view the poster. the RE set will include both speaker mutilation and computer based tracks. New material will be performed. On stage approximately 9:30pm, starting off the night. March 14, 2004 :: Working on new tracks. A collection of unreleased material will be available in the coming weeks. Hopefully add some photos from the Raising the Dead performance. Live video was shot and I'll try to get my hands on it. :: "ANTENNA BROKEN" and the "DIEKULTUR" EP are available for order. December 28, 2003 :: RECEIVINGEND will be performing a special speaker mutilation live performance at the Albert - January 23, 2004. October 30, 2003 :: RECEIVINGEND is finishing a few more tracks for the next release, the "DIEKULTUR" EP.
